Our client is a private sector organisation operating in the sports and team wear sector. The Company is looking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer.
- Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Portfolio of completed design projects.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
**Job Title: Senior Designer**
**Location: County Durham**
**Salary budget: Up to £30k dep exp**
Our client is a private sector organisation operating in the sports and team wear sector. The Company is looking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer to produce and oversee digital and print creative solutions to address its marketing needs.
To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques. You should also have experience executing marketing projects from conception to production, including websites, brochures and product packaging.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Producing and overseeing all graphic design projects, from conception to delivery.
- Producing new Product Range Designs for the in-house sportswear brand.
- Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
- Designing original pieces, including illustrations and infographics for web and catalogue publication.
- Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
- Reviewing Junior designers’ work to ensure high quality and brand design integrity.
- Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
- Producing High Quality Photographic imagery for both web and catalogue publication.
- Working with our Merchandise Department to produce and create Professional Club Badges.
- Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools.
**Requirements and skills**:
- Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Portfolio of completed design projects.
- Hands-on experience with image editing software such as Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficient in design software (InDesign and Balsamiq).
- Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts Attention to visual details.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field.
- Competent Photographer.
