Main Purpose of the Post: In this role you will be working across our provisions to provide careers advice to learners within our academies and employability provision. As a career’s coach at Learning Curve Group you will have experience of working within the recruitment sector and provide a high level of careers information, advice and guidance supporting learners with their choices regarding their career progression and set SMART career targets to support our learners to positive destinations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**DUTIES**
- Support learners throughout their learner journey to provide career advice and discuss progression opportunities into further education, employment or self-employment.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to source progression opportunities for learners into traineeship, apprenticeship or employment.
- To conduct impartial, personal career guidance interviews with learners, which challenge and support them to make informed, realistic and adaptable career decisions. These decisions will be based on self and opportunity awareness, aspirations, motivation, confidence and their approach to learning and which, if necessary, broaden their horizons.
- To generate and maintain learner records electronically in support of personal guidance interviews, including a summary of agreed actions/action plan.
- Develop progression routes to clearly show learners in specific job roles, options available to help them to progress.
- Carry out surveys and regular intervals to measure the impact of careers advice.
- To assist, where relevant, with the monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the effectiveness of the career guidance programme in achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks and the Quality in Careers Standard
- To communicate with relevant external agencies and networks for the benefit of learners and the enhancement of the career guidance programme.
- Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours.
- Implement and comply with the Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies.
- Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**

- IT literate
- Level 2 in English and maths
- Careers IAG qualification at Level 3 or higher
- Willing to undertake study at a higher level
- Experience of working within the recruitment sector

**Induction**
We know starting a new job can be daunting which is why you will have a structured training plan for your first few weeks set out by your manager, and specific to your role. Where possible, you will spend a day or two at our amazing HQ to pick up your equipment, uniform and get to know some of your colleagues
