Referrals to Foodbanks have increased over the last few years. We know that many foodbank clients live in rural areas where transport is in short supply and is expensive. Many clients also have a disability, which impacts on access to advice.

Working for Citizens Advice in the Cotswold District and in collaboration with Cirencester and North Cotswold Foodbanks, we’re looking for a debt caseworker to help Foodbank clients who need support to manage their debts. You will be working with our dedicated Foodbank advisers with the aim of reducing reliance on Foodbanks.

We offer our people as much flexibility and autonomy as possible; we all work in a hybrid way which includes working from home and in the office

This role will be line managed by Citizens Advice Stroud and Cotswold Districts (CA-SCD) but will also have progress reporting requirements to the Cirencester Foodbank and the North Cotswold Foodbank.

You will be working as part of a diverse and well-used service, providing high-quality debt advice and support to service users with money advice issues. The caseworker role will involve delivering specialist advice and casework on all debt advice queries.

Ideally you will have experience of delivering money and benefits advice but we will consider a trainee position if you have achieved competency in Citizens Advice full general advice level service delivery. You will have strong communication skills, a good level of IT competence and the ability to meet deadlines and manage a caseload.

**Salary**: £23,469.00-£26,122.00 per year

- No weekends
