The Clerk Typist will provide an efficient clerical and typing service to clinicians within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The post also includes data entry and out-patient clinic reception as and when required.

The Clerk Typist may be required to cover any site within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service across Cwm Taf Locality as directed by line manager.

The Clerk Typist will need to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues, visitors and patients and undertake a range of duties to support the smooth running of services provided by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Directorate.

The emphasis within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Directorate will be on team working, sharing of knowledge and experience for the overall benefit of the organisation.

To ensure through personal development the post holder should assist in the implementation of Health Board policies and procedures in order to achieve the Board objectives
