The Graphic Designer supports the creative execution and output of the high volume of graphic design projects for the Informa Connect Division, in particular the FinTech Futures brand as well as Banking Tech Awards, Banking Tech Awards USA, PayTech Awards and Finovate Awards.

FinTech Futures is the definitive source of news and analysis of the global fintech sector.

Our publishing platform is the go-to, trusted resource for financial services and tech buyers, sellers, developers, integrators, regulators and other specialists across the sector, big and small.

Our reputation has been earned over the years through our understanding of the industry, investigative journalism and independence. Our website offers daily news, analysis, research and commentary on all things financial services and technology, and a platform for our clients to advertise and generate leads with their content. Our iconic monthly magazine, Banking Technology, in circulation since 1983, provides in-depth research of the industry's developments and trends. It is available in print and digital.

FinTech Futures also holds industry events including the annual Banking Tech Awards, Banking Tech Awards USA, which recognises the top achievers and innovators within the banking technology community, and the annual PayTech Awards, which celebrates excellence and innovation in the payments industry, and unique virtual roundtable experiences bringing together senior digital transformation decision-makers in banking and finance.

**Job Description**:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for assessing and executing design and production on revolving projects such as the magazine, supplements, whitepapers, reports, webinars and the website, events and awards portfolio. Assets will include social banners, sign design, online and print collateral and any other promotion. He or she will be in charge of managing his/her own work-flow and will be able to balance and prioritise multiple projects at once to set deadlines. We are looking for a team player that will collaborate with the team, other designers and departments, execute design work and bring new ideas to the table on how to evolve Informa Connect and FinTech Futures design workflow.

**Key responsibilities**
- Keep current with emerging design trends and share innovations with team
- Create engaging content, images and infographics for social media
- Base level knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro with the ability to edit and export existing content
- Design & layout of the monthly Banking Technology Magazine, other supplements and editorial publications
- Produce regular videos to promote the FinTech Futures brand, editorial content and awards events
- Set up and populate the daily and weekly newsletter with top news headlines, client content and internal adverts
- Create banners and soundbites to promote the FinTech Futures What the FinTech? podcast
- Collaborates with team on project management and brand design implementation
- Upholds business brand guidelines
- Reports into the Portfolio Marketing Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Exhibits positive attitude, willingness to collaborate and problem solve with others
- Communication skills are important - must be able to understand scoping work and setting expectations with client
- Skills in managing multiple projects and teams within aggressive timelines
- Ability to work in matrixed, high paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple requests at once as well as assist others on the team
- Experience in events design and marketing/communications a big plus
- Proven technical skills in the following areas:

- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Microsoft programs
- Video creative and editing software
- Strong attention to detail

**Education/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the marketing or graphic design field with 2-3 years of experience
