We have positions available on both a full time and part time basis as well as opportunities to fit with your availability.

These opportunities are pivotal roles within the Pathology department and the successful Medical laboratory Assistant's play an active role in the support of the Clinical Biochemistry Department, Haematology and Pre-Analytics. Our laboratories provide analytical and clinical interpretive services to the health community in Gloucestershire, including all inpatients/outpatients in the Acute and community hospitals and all GP surgeries

As the Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be supporting our Practitioners in the provision of an effective, 24/7 high quality service. To undertake a range of pre-analytical tasks which will assist with the team being able to process in excess of 3000 samples per day.
