QA Advisor

When it comes to quality do you know your assurance from your control? Your PCN level 2 from your PCN Level 3?

Are you looking for a good work life balance, but still looking to secure a steady long term contract?

Engenda are currently after a quality assurance advisor for a minimum 6 month contract in Runcorn starting the end of January.

We have a fully embedded site team at Runcorn including Directors, Contracts Managers, HSE advisors and material controllers, as well as dozens of trade operatives who are based here all year round, giving you full support at every level.

You will be:

- Responsible for the safe and efficient use of radiography, MPI, DPI, heat treatment and machining on site
- Managing the day-to-day QC requirements of Project Teams and others
- Auditing and educating all parts of the company for compliance to welding control
- Ensuring that all welder approvals are maintained and up-dated when required
- Undertaking random QA/QC audits on all disciplines within the account
- Collating all information for test packs and hand-over to customer

We need you to have a visible history of working in similar QA positions on large UK based petrochem sites, whether that be refineries, chemical processing facilities or the like.

Ideally we are looking for places like Grangemouth, Saltend, Essar and P66 to name a few.

We have a busy five years ahead planned and as such are looking to build our talent pools for future contracts as well. We work on around 4 large shutdowns per year and as such will have a number of quality contracts over the next 5 years as well.

This is working on a new build project and is not a shutdown; because of this it is a 44 hour week so is probably suited to someone within a commutable distance from site, however travellers are welcome to apply.
