Gateman/labourer

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Gateman to work on a construction site in Scarborough.

As a Labourer/Gateman, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist with the completion of construction projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are looking to gain experience in the construction industry.

**Duties**:

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with the installation of structures, fixtures, and fittings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

**Skills**:

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Please note that this position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions.

NPORS/CPCS required, traffic marshall/gateman ticket & CSCS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
