Warehouse Operative

We are delighted to be assisting our client based in **Brandon** on their search for a **Warehouse Operative**.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be right at the heart of our warehouse's success. You'll take care of incoming and outgoing shipments, keep things organised, and make sure the workspace is neat.

**Hours**:Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00

**Rate of Pay**:£11.03ph with overtime available.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to provided guidelines.
- Organise and maintain inventory shelves.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pump trucks, to move, stack, and load/unload products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments, including labeling, palleting, and documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, move, and handle heavy objects.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
