Daytime Waiter

Role: Food & Beverage Services Associate

Reports to Food & Beverage Services Manager

**Purpose**

To ensure that Purple Dragon Chelsea’s vision of “becoming the World’s Best Club for Families” is reflected in the day to day operations of the Restaurant, Cafe as well as the planning and delivery of Private Events.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**
- To maintain consistently high service standards in the Restaurant and Cafe according to the PD Standards of Service.
- To ensure that food and drinks orders are taken and executed accurately in order to minimize wastage.
- To comply with the Club’s Food Hygiene guidelines and assist the Management to achieve a 5 star food rating.
- To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is constantly maintained in public and storage areas.
- To carry out any other reasonable instructions by senior management.

**Skills**
- Minimum 1 year as Food Runner or Waiter or Barista or Bartender or Commis De Rang in a Hotel, Private Member’s Club or Restaurant.
- Practical knowledge of 5 star service standards and mannerism.

**Personality**
- To have a natural preference in busy environments and enjoy working with children.
- Exceptional communication skills, outgoing, a people's person.

**Job Specifications**
- This is a Part Time or Full Time role - 27 to 45 hours per week.
- The Club opens at 9.30am and closes at 7pm so there are no requirements for very early or late shifts and we also remain closed during Christmas & New Years.

9 hour shift, excluding 30 minute lunch break.

All customers have access to anti-viral foam dispensers in every area of the club, hospital grade air purification systems allocated in each area of the club also.
