If so, we are looking for a Transport Clerck to work nights, at our site in Widnes, working on behalf of Tesco. **This is an excellent opportunity, with the option to progress within the company and further your career.**

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £21,899.86 per annum. You will be working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern 1900- 0700, 20 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks**. O**_vertime is available, often and paid at an enhanced rate._**

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- To complete thorough debrief with drivers
- To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management
- To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded, and defect processes followed
- To ensure that the procedure for damaged deliveries is followed where necessary
- To use all IT based systems in the effective delivery of their role including Microlise, Tachomaster, Trailermaster and R2C
- Ensures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information to both internal and external customers as required e.g. debrief of drivers, dealing with customer issues etc.
- To ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety requirements highlighting any concerns to line management
- Conduct relevant QHSE activities: Care Cards, Bsafe, Safety Conversations etc
- To identify and highlight to management any potential improvement opportunities
- To demonstrate the Company Values in the undertaking of their role
- To undertake any other reasonable task as required.
- To always display the highest standards of customer service.

To undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal development needs and business requirements

**What you need to succeed at XPO**:

- Previous administration experience ideally within a logistics environment
- A can-do attitude
- A strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
