Job opportunity - Senior Virtualization Engineer - Cambridge (Contract role)
We are looking for engineers to work within our Virtualization team dedicated to maintaining, improving and productizing existing and future Virtualization environments.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Collaborating - Collaborate across geographic regions and businesses to align Virtualization service improvements.
- Working with teams - Work across towers to facilitate delivery of the Virtualization Platform aligned to key principles and strategy of Infrastructure team.
- Supporting the platform - Working to support the Virtualization Platform by ensuring alignment across key delivery functions, global coverage for deployment and operations, including maintenance windows.
- Supporting the business -Help with business engagement and incident management as and when required.
- Supporting operations -Respond to Requests and Incidents in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Project delivery - Deliver project work on schedule and at the highest quality possible.
- Problem resolution - Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions within scope of experience and is expected to manage conflicting priorities.

Qualifications/Experience
- Experience and familiarity with Virtualization products and solutions (VMWare, RHV, and Public Clouds)
- Experience of developing and delivering Virtualization services
- Ability to communicate across a broad breadth of business and stake holders, and across all levels of business and technology Desirable
- Good experience in VMWare virtualization products.
- VMWare Certifications
- Good experience with monitoring and alerting tools
