Overview:
Element formally Crawford Scientific has an opportunity for a Training and Technical Consultant. This role is UK based with an element of international travel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Compliance with all regulatory and Company requirements in relation to Quality, Health and Safety appropriate to role.
- Deliver 2 to 3 training course per week.
- Deliver training to a high quality - as measured by the use of customer feedback forms.
- Produce, review and update technical and training material.
- Qualify the technical aspects of training courses in advance of delivery and produce training plans detailing the proposed topics.
- Provide technical support and advice to training customers and use these opportunities to generate sales leads and referrals.
- To develop the client base and sales portfolio in conjunction with the commercial and technical business development teams.
- To identify sales opportunities within focus product lines, and to work with the sales team in a technical capacity to ensure these leads results in sales.
- To assist the Training Manager with the development of new staff through mentoring and Train the Trainer activities.
- To assist the Training Manager with the development of the training product line in specified key accounts and territories.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Chromatography background to BSc degree level, with extensive practical experience and a good theoretical knowledge of HPLC (MS) and/or GC (MS) techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated and self-starting
