Drainage Installation Leader

BURROW ENVIRONMENTAL LTD. is a small family business and a successful specialist in the field of drainage engineering. We install wastewater treatment plants, pipes and pumps, mainly for homeowners, sometimes for business premises.

1. You have GSCE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent).

2. You have a valid UK driving license with less than 6 points, use of your own car, and will tell us about any past motoring offences.

3. You have never been convicted of a crime.

5. You will provide the name and mobile number for somebody who will provide a character reference for you (not a family member).

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**

You have a good level of fitness and stamina, appropriate to outdoor manual work.

You are good at working with others and managing people (you will be managing up to thee others on site)

You are willing to work away from home from time to time within the South West of England.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Installation Leader (Wastewater Treatment Plant Installation team)**

Our teams are usually two to four men and they create excavations and trenches in fields and gardens, operating excavators and dumpers, craning tanks into the ground, fitting pipes, handling ready mixed concrete and aggregates, and tidying sites afterwards.

You will already have excavator and dumper skills and be familiar with safe working practices on site, and will be a good communicator both with those in your team and with senior management. You will quickly learn how our installations are done while in the role.

Our projects are typically one week long, starting Monday and finishing Friday.

You will drive one of the company vans (Mercedes Sprinters). When driving your own vehicle we pay 45p/mile.

We work throughout the South West and sometimes stay away in hotels or other accommodation, in which case a food allowance is paid for each night away.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
