Sam’s Lowestoft, our flagship social enterprise cafe, opened in 2015 and designed by local young people, is located in Bevan Street East.

Sam’s has been developed into the base for Access Community Trust’s enrichment and wellbeing services, a real hub of the community, as well as offering volunteering, training and employment opportunities in the town. The cafe was named Innovation of the Year in Suffolk County Council’s Raising the Bar education awards 2017 in recognition of our range of training, learning and work experience provisions especially for disadvantaged young people.

We are staffed by a team of volunteers, who receive comprehensive training, support and guidance to increase their opportunities for the future, raise their aspirations and build their confidence. We are passionate about our local community and strive to improve the lives of those within it.

Sam’s is seeking a **Volunteer Driver to support the work of the Café**.

The main role will be to make deliveries within Lowestoft Town Centre (on average 6-8 each month.

You will need to be able to use your own car with business insurance. Of course, Access Community Trust will cover all expenses
