**Job Description**:
The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced People Administrator to join our business and work as part of our People team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with all administration relating to the recruitment of management-level employees including offer letters and contracts, references and probationary period documentation
- Ensure all Support Office employee files are up to date and filing is carried out
- Collate and publish the weekly safeguarding reports and conduct monthly compliance audits on employee safeguarding checks and documentation
- Ensure safeguarding risk assessments are communicated and completed and escalate where required
- Completed general administrative duties such as salary and bonus review letters, change of contract letters, reference requests and general correspondence
- Assist with the TUPE administration process as required and ensure right to work and safeguarding checks are completed and verified ahead of the TUPE transfer
- Assist with ad hoc HR projects as and when required
- Support the People team with the administration of the long
- and short-term sickness lists and HR tracker including correspondence with employees, obtaining doctors’ reports, arranging company doctor appointments and liaising with the People Managers when the reports are received
- Produce monthly statistical reports on right to work compliance, zero hours, DBS and safeguarding checks
- Produce people update on monthly basis communicating new schools, joiners and leavers
- Support the administration relating to Reward and Recognition in the business
- Be proactive, flexible, inquisitive and have a desire to learn and develop a career in HR
**Qualifications**:
- Can demonstrate excellent administration skills from a previous role is essential, ideally in a HR role but this is not essential
- High attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and Word (mail merging)
- Experience of customer service role and handling difficult requests
- Can demonstrate experience of working with high volumes/fast paced levels of administration
- Working on own initiative, being a self starter, proactive, able to initiate ideas and have an open honest approach
- Organised, methodical and systematic
- Able to maintain strict levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Keen to develop HR career
