Job Summary:
The LSP Compliance group are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health Officer to join our team. As an EHO, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK environmental health and safety regulations. You will conduct inspections, provide recommendations to mitigate risks and promote best practice as well as deliver exceptional customer service to our clients and partners.

Main Duties:

- Ability to develop a HACCP system.
- Contribute to the production of comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures for our clients.
- Conduct audits and prepare detailed reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ability to carry out event safety inspections, both alone and assisted.
- Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and developing preventive measures

Sales
- Actively engage with potential clients and be able to sell the benefits of working with The LSP Compliance Group.
- Travel throughout Scotland to engage with new and existing clients.

Essential:

- Applicant must hold a REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health or Equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health.
- Strong knowledge of environmental health regulations and standards.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Desirable:

- A certificate in Official Control Verification to assist our Approved Premises Clients.
- Previous Customer service experience.
- Knowledge in enforcement action.

This role would be ideal for an individual who is looking to work part time and is looking to contribute to a small but fast paced Environmental Health Consultancy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
