Based out of the York office, the Civils Work Package Manager will be responsible for the civil engineering package of works for a given project. This includes responsibility for budget, programme and safety. The Civils Work Package Manager will also take on the role of Civils Construction CRE and Temporary Works co-ordinator for the given project.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver the civil engineering construction works in line with the project programme
Manage the project specific civils engineering resource
Representing the civil engineering team for the civil engineering works in meetings as required
Implement and ensure compliance with Siemens Business Management System
Ensure control measures for the build are in place for both safety and quality assurance
Compile and review Work Package Plans
Complete civils construction CRE duties, including attending all relvent IDCs
Produce a monthly Forecast for all civils works including sub-contractor
Identify and Manage change in line with Siemens processes
Engage and manage all civils sub-contractors
Develop and maintain strong working relationship with internal and external customers
Must be willing to travel and lodge around area of responsibility

Essential Skills
Substantial Railway Civils Site Management / Civils Site Engineering background
PTS holder
CITB SMSTS
IOSH Managing Safely
Excellent communication skills at all levels including Senior Management, Supplier and Client

Desirable Skills
Previous experience as Civils Construction CRE
Temporary Works Coordinator
