Based in the heart of Heckington (Sleaford), and Bromborough (formerly Sun Valley Ltd), Humdinger is proud to be part of the Zertus UK & Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit, collaborating with top-notch food manufacturers nationwide.

Now, brace yourself for the ultimate adventure: We're on the lookout for Machine Minders to join our elite team at Humdinger in Heckington. As a Machine Minder, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, ensuring our cutting-edge VFFS (Vertical Form Fill & Seal) bagging machines and multi-head fillers run like clockwork. Your mission? To supercharge efficiencies and smash every operational target in sight

**Hourly Pay**: £12.50

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 (Rotating Weekly)

**B**reaks**: x2 20 minute paid breaks

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver the Right 1st Time Quality of all products produced.
- Ensure the line is run to its optimal capacity, minimising changeovers & improving yields
- Ensure that all aspects of shift/Line quality are adhered to
- Ensure all basic mechanical defects are repaired, either through own capability or with Engineering assistance
- Constantly look to improve the performance of the line through basic CI.
- GHP (Good Hygiene Practice) & GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) are adhered to at all times.
- All downtime/losses are recorded.
- Attend training as required.

Qualifications:

- Exceptional People skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Reasonable level of Computer Literacy
- Basic Engineering (change to Mechanical??) Skills
- Working experience within an FMCG environment (ideally Food)
- Previous experience with CCPs and quality paperwork in a food environment (Desirable)
- Completion of Level 2 Food Safety (Training provided by the company if not held before starting)
- Good knowledge of check weighers & X-Ray machines (Desirable)
