**Key Requirements**:

- Ideally science-based qualification. Minimum Higher English, Maths, Science (or equivalent)
- Knowledge in water management however full training will be provided
- Exceptional report writing skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- A positive attitude
- Good problem-identification and solving skills
- Proficient in computer programs such as MS Office and data entry Flexible approach to working hours

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Water Hygiene Assessor delivers Legionella Risk Assessments, Tank Cleaning and Disinfection Services in line with HSE and British Standard Guidelines. The role provides formal legionella risk assessment reports or disinfection certificates following work scopes.

**Key activities**:

- Undertake Legionella Risk Assessments, Tank Cleaning and Disinfections offshore or internationally in line with HSE L8 and British Standards
- Assist in the implementation of incorporating basic tank inspections within Legionella Risk Assessments
- Ensure that suitable and sufficient documented risk assessments are available for disinfections, if not then assist the assessing of work-related hazards and risks
- Ensuring record keeping on reports and certificates
- Attending client kick-off or close-out meetings as appropriate for the required work scopes
- Supplying fail notifications to clients following poor water quality results
- Preparing quotations
- Presenting Legionella Awareness training courses to clients, including but not limited to Water Quality Awareness and Legionella Awareness (for onshore, offshore and international clients)
- Development of new courses as required
- Undertake all work in-line with the Service Provider Commitments defined by the LCA
- Demonstrate our LMT system to current client users during site visits
- Assist in the development of water quality products and services
- Undertake internal training/audits and provide support to more junior staff where necessary
- Interpretation and trending of water quality results
- Preparing recommendations for clients, dependent on their water quality results Support sampling and site monitoring services as required
