Lupine Canine is looking to expand and hire a new dog walker/dog taxi driver to join our friendly team in and around Central/South London and Surrey.

All of the dogs on our walking schedule have been pre-trained by us which assures our walkers that they will be accompanied well trained and balanced dogs.

Our dog walkers are responsible for maintaining previously trained behaviour and commands, intellectual and physical stimulation on the walk and, at all times, assuring proper welfare and guarding against negligence.

New recruits will receive full “on-the-job” training and mentored by a fellow team member prior to being released to their customer facing role. Training to graduate to becoming a Lupine Canine trained Professional Dog Walker takes around 3 weeks but the duration depends on the ability of the individual recruit.

As part of the role, you will occasionally assist with our Boarding dogs at our beautiful woodland-based facility, “Wilderness Kennels” in Ockley, Surrey, or as a dog taxi driver to transport dogs.

From Basic Obedience training to K-9 Working Dog or Behaviour Modification, we can handle the entire process for our clients, both in the UK and overseas.

**Responsibilities**

Walkers will be travelling to clients' houses (sometimes entering the client's property unsupervised) and taking dogs out for an hour-long walk making sure to maintain and practice obedience to stimulate the dog’s mind to the standard of training they have achieved. We do not walk multiple dogs at a time, each walk is tailored to that individual dog’s needs and requirements following their training program with us.

Role starts as part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) during probation, and can either stay part-time, or move to full-time after probation is completed. Middle-of-the-day hours and schedule can be worked around child-care requirements.

Ideal availability will be between 9am/9:30am start to 1pm/2:30pm finish, Monday to Thursday (with some flexibility), with additional hours available on Fridays.

**Required Experience, Skills & Attitude**

You will have excellent communication skills, be clear and concise, with proper diction.

**Benefits**
