Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit experienced **Metering Team Leader** to work on our United Utilities contract in the Northwest. The contract is focused on installing new stop taps and meters, on a street-by-street basis.

As a **Metering Team Leader** your duties & responsibilities will include:

- Install stop taps and meters to Spec.
- Backfill excavations to HAUC specifications.
- Ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practice.
- Complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.
- Set up site and remove site, within the code of practice.
- Demonstrate an excellent level of customer engagement/service.
- Defect/damage reporting
- Working in highways with pedestrians and live traffic
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle, and tooling.
- Adhere to any relevant policies and procedures.
- Escalates issues.
- Support team and management.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirement**
- Driving License
- Water hygiene card
- Water SHEA or CSCS
- Emergency First Aid
- Abrasive Wheels
- Manual Handling
- IT Literate
- Streetworks Operative (NRSWA)

**Additional Information**
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated using hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
