**The role**:
The Bristol Poverty Institute are recruiting a Senior Conference and Events Coordinator to provide a range of administrative support for the Institute, including organising and supporting internal and external events including an international, interdisciplinary conference in spring/summer 2024.

The Bristol Poverty Institute is one of the University of Bristol’s Research Institutes dedicated to multi-disciplinary research on the causes, effects and measurement of poverty around the world to inform effective policy and practice.

**What will you be doing?**:
The role holder will have the opportunity to support a range of exciting activities including both internal and external events (online and in-person), formal Advisory Board meetings, stakeholder engagement, thematic Research Clusters, communications including website, social media, e-comms and our blog, and data management for the Institute as well as other tasks required in the provision of a professional support service. Their primary focus will be on supporting, coordinating and delivering events including our upcoming conference, which we anticipate will have several hundred attendees from around the world representing a range of sectors, disciplines, and approaches. They will also provide general administrative support for the Institute, working collaboratively with other members of the team including the BPI Senior Administrator.
