Simpsons Malt is one of the UK’s biggest malting companies with 150+ years of successful supply to brewers and distillers with a customer range from the smallest craft and microbrewers to multi-nationals in the UK and around the world, and we are now proudly B-Corp accredited.

Some exciting opportunities have arisen to join us for the harvest season, between the period from July to October. We are looking to employ keen people to help us perform pre harvest preparation and assist with lab testing and intake during the harvest period as well as assisting on intake duties during harvest. Basic job details are as follows:
4 x Harvest Laboratory / Weighbridge vacancies
- Monday to Friday, 7am
- 7pm, along with weekend work. Work duties will include, grain testing incoming lorries and drier samples. Operating the weighbridge and general administration and record keeping.

4 x Harvest Intake Outside Operators
- Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm, with weekend shifts once intake has started. Work duties will include tipping of lorries into correct intake bins, grain drying, and assisting with the storage of grain bulks. General site housekeeping and hygiene to meet company policies.

Key requirements:

- Reliable, self-motivated.
- Basic computer skills, especially when programming equipment and ensuring machine controls are set correctly.
