Demolition Worker

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform demolition tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools for demolition purposes
- Remove debris and clean up work areas after demolition
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective demolition processes
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines

Requirement:

- Self employed with UTR
- Valid CSCS/CCDO card
- Asbestos awareness
- Prior experience in demolition or construction is preferred
- Own transport
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of proper handling and use of demolition tools and equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a construction or demolition setting
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Demolition/soft strip: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
