Student Services are seeking to appoint a Student Wellbeing Services Officer to join the Business Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable individual with strong interpersonal and IT skills and a passion for enhancing the student experience.

The role is varied and aims to provide an efficient, customer-focused, and professional front line service to support the day to day running of our Mental Health, Wellbeing, Counselling, Inclusive Support, Student Support and Chaplaincy Teams.

The successful post-holder will be committed to providing outstanding customer service and working flexibly within an integrated administration service, facilitating the work of a multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for an individual who is flexible and proactive, with exceptional organisational skills and an eye for detail. They will need to be able to prioritise well and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. A skilled communicator, both written and verbal, the post-holder will manage diaries, arrange meetings, case conferences and other ad-hoc groups, and minute meetings.

A Student Wellbeing Services Officer will be competent in Microsoft Office and have experience of organising, inputting, and extracting data from complex computerised systems. GCSE Maths and English to Grade C/Level 4 or above, or equivalent qualification are essential, as are A Levels or equivalent post-secondary qualifications or relevant industry experience.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston. Ideally the post holder will work 4 days each week, which must include a Friday. The working pattern for Monday to Thursday is negotiable. Blended working will also be considered after an initial training period of three months.
