**COMPANY OVERVIEW**

Davis Trackhire is the UK’s Largest Independent Supplier of Aluminium Roadway. The company provide and install temporary roadways, pedestrian walkways and ground protection systems across various different sectors throughout the UK. Following a sustained period of continuous growth we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our existing sales team.

**Brief Description of Roles and Responsibilities.**
- Responsibility for the administration of operational training requirements including identifying suppliers and the booking of relevant training courses.
- Assist in the Appraisal process and ensuring action plans are followed.
- Assisting with HR matters
- investigations and note taking involving road crew and depot staff.
- Assisting with the administration of vehicle and asset maintenance scheduling/inspections
- including HGV vehicles, cranes, forklifts, and other plant & machinery via the Fleetcheck platform; collation of relevant paperwork to keep the company legal.
- Assist in the management and administration of the defect reporting system.
- Assist in the management and administration of crew timesheets, incentives and overtime.
- Be responsible for the administration of fuel cards and fuel management
- Assist in the administration for collisions and accidents.
- The administration of general Logistics & depot sheets and monthly reporting including working time directive, missing mileage, fuel and distance.
- Assist with purchasing administration for the Logistics department
- Be prepared to travel to various sites/offices, which may include long journeys and occasionally be prepared to stay away from home.

**The Person.**

Preferred to have some Transport/Logistics experience.

Able to problem solve even within pressurised situations, a good planner and able to programme works, provide reports and keep good site records and data.

A “can do” positive attitude is essential.

Attention to detail.

Eager to learn and develop as part of a team.

It is essential that you have good communication skills with the ability to influence and represent the Company in a positive manner.

Self-driven, results oriented.

Be able to make decisions in line with the company strategy and objectives.

Fully competent driver with a clean driving licence.

Reliable and punctual

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
