**Job Title**:Senior Technical Representative

**Salary**: £36,000 - £38,000 Depending on skills on experience + 20% FSR Allowance

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Working on a wide range of equipment, predominantly airborne avionics equipment, supporting our customer’s requirements on Head Mounted Symbology System (HMSS) product
- Carrying out new and corrective fit assessments on HMSS product
- Carrying out minor repairs and modifications to HMSS product and associated Test Equipment
- Support to the customer, in the maintenance and operation of the associated Test Equipment used to support HMSS product lines
- Daily Interface with the customer, providing monthly reports into BAE Systems Rochester
- Informal ‘On the Job’ training of customer’s staff, as a sub
- set requirement of the main role
- Scope for broadening product line knowledge and support will come after successful time in the role

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Extensive experience in Life Support equipment maintenance in a modern military fast jet aircraft environment
- Familiarity of the tasks undertaken within a busy operational Squadron Survival Equipment Bay
- Experience of avionics survival equipment repair, maintenance, and modification practices such as striker helmet and display unit would be beneficial
- Desirable to have a BTEC level (including ONC/OND) or similar as a minimum in avionics/electronics
- Full UK driving licence

**The Field Service Department team**:
The Field Service Department provides various levels of field support to our customers throughout the world and varies from Flight trials, modifications, and fault diagnosis / rectification from platform level through to component level, as and when required.

The Senior Technical Coordinator will be based at RAF Coningsby, but the role will involve some domestic travel and international travel as and when required to support our customers.
