Care Assistant

**Here at Snowdon Care Home exciting opportunities have arisen for a Night Care Assistant to join our team based in Llanberis. **We have both full time and part-time positions available.**

Duties will include:

- General support of our residents in order to help individuals maintain or achieve independence.
- Participate in the planning of care programmes and preparation of care review discussions
- All aspects of physical care of residents, including where necessary, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting etc.
- Involvement in and promotion of emotional care of the residents
- Involvement in the keyworker system
- Other duties that may be required to promote the comfort, well
- being and self respect of each of the residents
- Reporting any incidents of ill treatment of a resident to the Manager
- Promoting privacy, dignity and independence of all residents within the home
- Attending training sessions and meetings that will assist with the development of care practices and your own career development.

**Here at Snowdon Care Home we are looking for attitude not experience. We can train you for skills, but a positive attitude and work ethic you are born with.**

**Requirements for successful applicants will include**:

- being required to undergo a DBS clearance and reference checks.
- you will need to have a caring nature and a positive personality.
- you must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- you will ideally have an NVQ level 2 or will be prepared to work towards it.

There is also a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be physically able to push wheelchairs and operate hoist mechanisms.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-36 per week

**Salary**: £9.90-£10.40 per hour
