PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Urgently looking for a senior procurement proffessional to join a well established infrastructure business. Ideally you will have a utilities background so used to moving unusual products and aquiring a unique range of products. You will have a strong understandingof contracts and how to manage suppliers.
- Development, implementation and management of purchasing strategies for service and maintenance contracts
- Implementation of framework agreements for service and maintenance contracts
- Implementation of an active supplier relationship management with the service providers
- Development and implementation of an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the operations team
- Manage key performance indicators and the performance our suppliers / Visiting current and potential suppliers
- Develop and maintain appropriate procurement/Project/Contract records
- Provide general commercial support to the operations team
- Assist with the building of management information and reporting structures both Project specific and Procurement general performance
- Advise and support operations team and procurement team on the appropriate procurement methods and strategies while identifying supply chain risks
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
