**We have exciting opportunity for Catering Assistants to join our Hotel Services team at The London Clinic. This post is located at our hospital in Central London, W1G 6BW (Close to Baker Street & Regents Park tube stations).**

The London Clinic was established in 1932 and is one of the UK's largest private hospitals, where we pride ourselves on our values, and putting the patient at the heart of everything we do. Our housekeepers, chefs, waiters/waitresses, reception and administration staff have one common goal - to make our patients feel special.

**Job Profile**

, permanent vacancy covering 40 hours per week.
- Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday. Shifts are 7am-4pm // 8am-5pm // 1pm-10pm.
- Base Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW
- Salary: £23,742 per annum, permanent.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- To carry out the food and beverage preparation as well as service to patients and visitors from ward kitchens to patient rooms.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and service at all times.
- Cleaning of ward kitchens and related food service areas, and that a high standard of hygiene and health and safety practice is adhered to.
- Carry out all duties in a friendly, efficient and helpful manner to the maximum benefit of customers and colleagues, fully considering the importance of customer service.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience working as a waiter/waitress within a catering environment.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and service, as well as food hygiene & safety.
- Experience working in a Hospital, 4-5* hotel room service environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure.
- Friendly & approachable character with the ability to work effectively with people from a range of diverse backgrounds, as well as with a range of healthcare professionals.
