Picker and Packer

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company based in Mobberley.

**Position Summary**

To perforate, sign, spool, foil, chop, collate, pack, seal and label various photographic products

**Main Responsibilities**

Carry out the role of CLO/PLO, one of, AMCL 2 or 3, ARFL, Sheet Film or Cut Lengths and at least one of the following -Sitma, Back Printing, Guillotine, Soft Touch Printer or Dixon Chopper.

Using documentation provided retrieve all materials from Kanbans and or stores ensuring all item numbers/ batches are correct against the paperwork.

Prepare slits for loading onto machine.

Safely set up machines following defined procedures and quality standards.

Load all materials onto machines and run.

Follow a defined sampling schedule and deliver samples to QC. Using various calibrated measuring devises check dimensions andsquareness of product. Follow instruction on paperwork or from QC for defect removal.

Carry out problem solving within your role to reduce downtime and maximise performance. For example, continual quality checks of product and materials. Communicate anyissues to your manager, planning and or QC.

Collate chopped sheets, rolls and all assembly items, pack, seal, label and palletise products following defined work instructions and quality standards.

Maintain effective communication, sharing information and ensure all relevant paperwork is filled in.

Follow a defined darkroom procedure when using white light keys.

Follow a defined maintenance schedule provided by Engineering manager.
- Store, make up and dispose of chemicals correctly following defined environmental procedures.

Undertake all activities in line with company Health, safety and environmental policies and procedures and participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.

**Salary**: £21,905.00 per year
