- **Responsibilities**:_

**Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring high-quality presentation, taste, and consistency.

**Menu Knowledge**: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, ingredients, and methods of preparation to assist customers with menu inquiries and special dietary requirements.

**Stock Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensure proper storage and stock rotation to minimize wastage.

**Kitchen Hygiene and Safety**: Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of food items, equipment, and workspaces.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and servers, to ensure efficient operations during peak hours and maintain a harmonious work environment.

**Cleaning and Maintenance**: Perform routine cleaning tasks and assist in the maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

**Adaptability**: Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed, including assisting in different areas of food preparation or service during busy periods.
- **Requirements**:_

**Experience**: Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a pub or similar establishment, is often preferred.

**Culinary Skills**: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and familiarity with kitchen equipment.

**Food Safety Certification**: Possession of relevant food safety and hygiene certifications is beneficial and, in some cases, mandatory.

**Team Player**: Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

**Physical Stamina**: The role may involve standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.

**Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation, portioning, and adherence to recipes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
