- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Install or repair flashing to prevent water leakage
- Seal roof penetrations such as vents, chimneys, or skylights
- Ensure roofs are properly insulated and ventilated
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when working at heights

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a roofer or in a related field
- Proficient in working with various roofing materials and tools
- Knowledge of masonry work, including the ability to build chimneys or repair brickwork
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in roofing projects
- Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints for roofing installations
- Experience with carpentry or welding is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
