The successful applicant will join a well-established, successful, enthusiastic team and will be a great opportunity to participate in the development of services in a friendly district general hospital. The postholder will assist in advancing our service in acute frailty, focussing on patients admitted with hip fractures and acute surgical problems. We have some already established front door frailty services, including Frailty SDEC clinics and an acute frailty unit, alongside two inpatient wards, an acute stroke unit, Orthogeriatric and Parkinson’s disease services. With the eventual aim of becoming Dorset County Hospital’s Centre of Excellence for the Care of Older People.
