**About the role**

We have a rare opportunity to join our talented, award-winning video team. As part of our in-house creative studio, Imagine, our team works on some of the most exciting and innovative content in publishing. The video work we create is incredibly diverse - from ambitious location shoots for our partnership clients, to editorial recipe content, to TikTok influencer videos. You’ll be working on a wide array of briefs, with a huge amount of variation day to day. Our clients include some of the biggest brands in the world, covering food, entertainment and automotive, to name just a few of our core pillars. From directing videos on set to owning edits all the way through post-production, we’re looking for a real team player, someone who is excited about making video in all its forms, whether for social or on-site. The right person for this role will be positive and outgoing with a brilliant attitude. We’re looking for someone who can communicate well and respond to feedback, from clients and peers.

Ideally, we'd like to see examples of filming, editing, grading and motion graphics work in your video link.

**As a Video Editor you will;**

**Video Editing**
- Be a confident and capable in leading post-production process of video projects
- Confident with colour grading, time remapping, use of masking and effects in Premiere
- Highly creative and confident picking up complex video editing tasks from scratch.

**Motion Graphics**
- Good level of skill with keyframe animation and basic level of effects knowledge within AE
- Capable of designing and animating title stings, logo reveals, creating custom transitions.
- Comfortable working with masks and animating shape layers

**Videography**
- Capable of running shoots with multiple cameras
- Will have a thorough understanding of shooting principals and camera setup
- Fluid use and understanding of different lenses and camera accessories (e.g. sliders, monitors)
- A flexible approach to shooting, capable of attending shoots with varying demands and delivering strong results

**Creative Direction**
- Able to take on multiple creative video tasks and projects with confidence
- Able to interpret wide range of client briefs offering creative input and fresh ideas for execution
- Confident preparing storyboards and shot lists for shoots
- Strong level of confidence directing video shoots
- Able to present creative ideas and concepts internally

**Relationship Building**
- Develop relationships with editorial and commercial teams to proactively collaborate on content ideas
- Attend brainstorms regularly and build collaborative relationships with sales and creative team members
- Represent the video team across Immediate brands, liaising with internal and external clients

**Requirements**:
**Essential Skills**
- You will have previous experience of filming and editing a range of digital video content to a high standard with proven experience working for a studio, agency or independently for clients.
- You should possess a strong qualification in film and video or related multimedia fields.
- Experienced in use of After Effects for motion graphics
- Experience filming, operating cameras, planning shoots

**Desirable**
- Strong understanding on social first video formats
- Familiar with shooting on Canon C70 cameras and associated kit
- Experience delivering video for commercial campaigns
- Experience creative video content for social platforms
