We Are Juno CIC is a non-profit, opening our first children's residential care home in Wirral. We want to transform the residential care system, and ensure we provide the best care for young people living with us.

As we are getting ready to open our home, we're looking for brilliant people with experience in residential care to join our Children's Care team.

You will provide day-to-day care for children and young people living with us. You will quickly establish trusting relationships and support people in our care with their education, shared activities and their overall wellbeing.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure consistent quality of care
- Organising, participating in and planning shared activities and interests with children to nurture their wellbeing, learning and growth
- Working flexibly to meet changing demands and be willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities to ensure the safe day-to-day running of the home
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of children, the workforce and visitors to the home by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment

Requirements for the role include:

- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
- Experience of working with children in a residential care setting
- Knowledge of children’s rights and of adolescent mental health, and therapeutic approaches (including trauma-informed practice)
- Understanding of the risks and issues facing children in care and their families

If successful, you will be invited to chat to our team in an informal getting to know you call, ahead of the assessment day on Saturday, the 25th of February (in Liverpool). Shortlisted applicants will then attend the final interview.

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£29,500.00 per year
