Our client is a group of solicitors with a branch located in the heart of Stoke on Trent. They are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their team to support two of their branches. You'll spend the majority of your week at the Stoke on Trent branch workingfrom the office 3 days per week and then working two days from home. You will also be required to travel to the Liverpool office once every couple of months.

**Job Description**:
As a Legal Cashier you will be responsible for the following:

- Daily banking and bank reconciliations
- BACS and CHAPS payments
- Process internal account transfers
- Handling general queries from fee earners
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Checking completion statements
- Ensuring compliance with SAR, money laundering and VAT regulations
- Credit control
- Producing management reports
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Good Excel skills
- Experience of working on Proclaim Software (advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given)
- The willingness to travel to the Liverpool branch once every couple of months
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work with individuals across all departments
- Enthusiastic attitude towards work and colleagues
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
