Medicus Health Partners is a Super-partnership of Twelve GP practices with central governance, operations, and finance teams. We have around 93,000 registered patients and over 250 staff and a strong patient focused ethos.

**JOB SUMMARY**

The job holder will need to work at their assigned site and potentially across other practices based on need with some element of remote working.

This role will be based by default at Lincoln Road Medical Practice, EN1 1LJ. However, it will be critical that the job holder links into all Medicus practices and the Medical directorate who are located cross site. The groups above will provide support to the individual as well as being important stakeholders for the different contracts that are being delivered.

The IT admin Officer will play a key role in supporting the Medicus IT projects as directed by the Partnership. He/She will be solely responsible for maintaining, creating, updating the surgery websites as per contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Designing - Check viability & feasibility and help support to work out budgets, quality metrics, teams and resource allocation, projections, marketing campaigns, research, milestones, SOPs, exit strategies and profitability projections. Create a Definitive and dynamic Road map based on the available data.
- Liaising - Liaise with MHP Partners and PCN members, Project Directors, Project Managers, Vendors, Legal Consultants, Trusts, Financial Consultants and Team Managers and external organisations.
- System Analysis-Troubleshoot and fix day-to-day software and hardware problems. Advise and support management on needed system upgrades in both software and hardware. Liaising with GP IT.
- Team Management - Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations using Effective communication, technologies. and reporting structure.
- Management & Administration - Will include coordinating the project team effectively. All teams across all spectrums will need to be kept on track in keeping with the project budget and timelines. Familiarity and experience in Agile methodology of project management will be important. Contingency plans, bench teams and resource management and real time qualitative analysis and reporting will be important.
- Quality Control & Reporting - Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project. Define, measure, analyse and evolve the qualitative aspects of the project without impacting the defined outcome.
- Risk Analysis and Error Management - Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time, implement any necessary changes throughout the process in real time in keeping with the timelines and delivery standards defined for the project. Working in collaboration with Clinical governance committee.
- Reporting - Elaborately detailed and real time reporting to management and the clients/partners using effective and industry standard tools and graphs will be important.
- Delivery & Transition - Final project delivery including transition, handover, will need to be well documented and processed effectively. Evaluating successes/Failure and challenges to enhance learning for your next project will be important. Publishing White Papers and developing case studies will also be a part of the process.
- Information Technology - Support and oversee all hardware, software and network resource management and allocation. Oversee uninterrupted working of all IT services and provision adequate support as necessary. Liaise with all technology partners and spear head technology led progression, transition and training for other staff.
- Maintenance and Update of MHP Websites -Proactive in maintaining the MHP website, including in cooperating changes as when required, ensuring security compliance of website from both internal and external sources.
- Business Intelligence **- **Support and help in the Building of Dash boards using data searches to help deliver optimal care to our patients and making the organisation more efficient, this would be a collaborative role with the MHP Digital team and beyond.

**Qualifications/Education**
Essential:
Basic knowledge in IT and Project Management.
Evidence of continued professional development.

Desirable:
Certification of Training for IT/Management.
Bachelor’s degree in IT/Management.
Additional Certifications in project management or finance like PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or other APM accredited certifications, etc.

Understanding of clinical governance and its significance and impact upon practice.
Good communication skills.
Experience in using I.T based patient documentation systems.
