This is a really exciting time to join us in Cancer Services at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Based on feedback from the people who work with us and the people we care for, in 2023 we will be launching our new Cancer Strategy. A supported, diverse and clinically enabled workforce will be central to our main objectives. We have therefore created several new roles and are remodelling how we provide nursing support to the delivery of high quality, person-centred care. This particular role provides an opportunity to work with the multi-disciplinary team to provide treatment for patients with an oncological or haematological diagnosis.

The SACT Nurse will assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload of cancer patients. The post holder will assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs throughout the cancer treatment pathway, including administration of SACT. The post holder will assist in maintaining and developing cancer services and contribute to quality improvement within cancer services.
