Nursery Room Leader

You will need to support the nursery manager in the effective day to day smooth running of the nursery.

Some of your responsibilities as a room leader will include
- Managing a room, providing support and leading by example to raise standards of care and education;
- Assist in the effective management of the staff team, looking at improvements in staff knowledge and monitoring the children files/reports and with the manager the quality of records being kept and maintained on the children;
- Working with the Manager in reviewing and working on action plans to improve and drive the setting forward to improve both the children’s environment and the standards of teaching and learning;
- To ensure all Health and Safety policies are implemented and adhered to at all times;
- To implement an effective parent liaison program.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience: NNEB, NVQ level 3 or equivalent and with an excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS.

The successful applicant will need to pay for an enhanced DBS check, or be on the update service.
