It is an **exciting opportunity** as we launch our** New Children's Short Breaks Service in Rotherham. **This is a **1 year Fixed Term** **Annualised** contract working **10 hours per week**. There is possibility for the term to be extended.

The service will operate** Monday to Friday 3pm to 9pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm. (During school holidays 9am-3pm). **We are offering **£13.25 per hour**

As a key member of our small team, your main purpose will be supporting children with complex and challenging support needs. You will be responsible for organising meaningful activities, which are enjoyable and leading some small group sessions to facilitate their understanding of their environments, and assist in skill development, health, personal care, and behavior management. You will assist in the effective operation of our services, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing training and development.

**This role in Rotherham might include**:

- Planning activities to support well-being
- Support individuals / groups within the Centre and Community.
- Liaise with external professionals (CAMHS, Social Workers, Educational Psychologists)
- Keeping all records of your work up to date and accurate
- Provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service
- To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
