**About the Role**:
High School pledge and take responsibility for targeted intervention groups in the Bridge. It involves developing
targeted programmes which support students to engage in personal and academic learning. As a Leader of the
Bridge, you will plan and implement effectively sequenced learning phases which support students to learn when not
in mainstream lessons. You will also have responsibility to ensure students are suitably prepared for learning when
returning to the mainstream environment.

You will be fully supported by an experienced team of colleagues who share a vision of excellent teaching and
learning founded on collaborative planning, assessment and instruction, and who help each other to continually
improve practice. We have an open-door culture and reflective ethos where we use lesson study to learn from each
other.

As a Leader of the Bridge, you will effectively lead and manage the staff and students within the Bridge setting,
providing a positive learning environment that instils our CARES values for all stakeholders.

You will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and personalisation strategies and be
responsible for maintaining the highest quality of monitoring and evaluating whilst improving the standard of
achievement for all students. You will be confident in your abilities to teach effectively across all Key Stages. You will
be adept in creating a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for students of all diverse
backgrounds.
