**Job Title**:Visitor Services Officer

**Reports to**:Visitor Services Manager

**Term**:Permanent, part-time, 2 days a fortnight (alternate weekends)

**Salary**: £11.50 an hour

The Visitor Services Officer is key to the day-to-day operation of the museum. The VSO delivers outstanding customer service, ensures that visitors are safe and keeps the museum looking its best.

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and can-do person who is conscientious and alert, who notices the little things and who is hands-on about fixing problems.

You will be talking to visitors about the museum and its history, so an interest in the museum is a must. You will also be our first line of response in the event of an emergency, so you need to be comfortable with making quick decisions.

**Interviews will take place on Wednesday 22 March.**
