Freight Forwarder

European Road Freight Forwarder required. Our client is one of the UK’s leading global supply chain firms. Due to the on-going success and profitable business wins our client requires an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a dynamic and growing team.

You will be able to communicate effectively, cost transport, quote export and import, operate and control all movements, maximise profitability whilst providing excellent levels of customer service at every opportunity. The role will involve account management, quoting prospective customers, liaising with UK and European suppliers, customs management, operational and office support.

**Requirements for the role**:

- An enthusiastic, committed, flexible and can-do approach.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an international road freight environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- A strong commercial awareness or acumen.
- Excellent time management abilities with a positive team working attitude.

**Position Remuneration**
- £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on experience)
- Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
- 20 days annual holiday + 8 days statutory
- Pension scheme
- Parkin on site.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
