**_ We are currently have 4 positions across the wellbeing recovery service and Positive Steps Floating Support_**

**The** Purpose for wellbeing recovery service**

Our service helps anyone aged 18+ who is experiencing emotional and mental health problems, as well as their carer’s, by providing advice, information and support. We can help you to maintain and improve your emotional and mental wellbeing, become empowered to achieve your goals, and to live a meaningful and valued life within the community.

The services we offer:

- Information, advice and guidance: We will offer information and advice to enable you to learn about mental health and wellbeing services in your local community exploring options available together to find what is right for you.
- We will also discuss coping strategies, and offer advice on things like benefits or relationships which are affecting your personal wellbeing. We run regular pop-up/drop-in information and advice sessions around your local area.
- One-to-one support with a trained MH Support Worker, who will listen to you and work with you to improve your mental health and achieve your personal goals.
- Various support groups to help you learn, gain skills, and build peer support networks to enable you to live life to the full an take part in activities and opportunities along with everyone else.

Our aim is to deliver a professional service by providing support and care for service users with mental health conditions. The Support Worker role is to deliver a range of recovery focussed interventions to maximise individual and community assets to promote social inclusion, recovery, wellbeing and independence. Additionally, supporting individuals who require assistance to access day services, employment, education and training opportunities in line with the service level agreement. To support the management team to manage and develop the service in line with the requirements of NCHA's quality standards, quality and regulatory frameworks and contracted Service Level Agreements.

Our brand new floating support service is for people with mental health and drug and alcohol related issues in Leicestershire. We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers who will focus on preventing vulnerable people from losing their home, manage dual diagnosis issues and promote recovery and support setting up new homes after a hospital discharge or homelessness.

As a community based service we operate across Charnwood, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, Blaby, Hinckley & Bosworth and North West Leicestershire and we are looking for people to support their communities.

**What we need from you**

You will also need a solid understanding of local resources, be able to work effectively on your own, be confident in communication skills, have networking experience, relationship building and a desire to help people work to their strengths and maximise their futures.

**As this a floating support role, a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for the role. You will be reimbursed for mileage costs.**

**The shifts**

The role will be 9 - 16:30 or 9:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday and you will need the flexibility to work evenings on request and weekends as required.
