We’re opening a brand-new facility at Wednesbury and are looking for motivated Production Operatives to work on day and evening shifts, with real opportunity to progress and develop with us.

Operative roles starting from £10p/h on days, with enhanced pay rates for evening shifts and opportunities to increase to £10.50p/h through training and as you develop your skills. There has never been a more exciting time to be part of a growing team that feeds the nation.

**Purpose of the role**
As an integral member of the Production team you will enable your lines and the rest of the site to meet different customer’s needs to the required quality and safety standards for Avara Foods.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Packing product to the required standard
- Grading product for quality purposes
- Maintaining high production standards
- Reject product in line with guidance provided
- Meet the required packing rates

**What we are looking for**:

- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Working Hours: Days 07:00 - 16:00

**A little about us**:
Avara Foods supply chicken and turkey to the nation’s most popular supermarkets and restaurants. We are a fully integrated business controlling the whole product supply chain, which include feed mills, farms, hatcheries and factories with associated transport and logistics functions that employ more than 7000 people.

All our facilities are Covid secure, with protective measures and precautions in place to keep our people safe:

- Daily temperature screening
- Social distancing measures - including floor markers and 2m separation where possible
- Screens and barriers installed at workstations and canteens
- PPE and face coverings required in all shared spaces
- Additional facilities and amenities to reduce congestion
- Increased cleaning regimes across sites
- Rolling out risk based Lateral Flow Testing across operational sites
