**ABOUT US**

M&R Barbers in Guildford (Burpham) is relaunching as M&R barber + brew. The existing barbershop will be moving to the back of the premises, making way for a coffee shop (with a bit of Italian flair) out front. We are currently looking for part-time baristas _**with weekend (both Saturday and Sunday availability) **_to_ join our team

**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

If you’re a hard worker, with a can-do attitude, great customer service, and a love for coffee - we’d love to hear from you Previous experience as a barista is _**essential**_. Knowledge of the community also desirable.

**THE ROLE**

As a barista, your duties will include:

- Greeting customers, strike up conversations getting to know them & their preferences, and answer customer queries with confidence.
- Efficiently craft and serve high quality beverages.
- Taking orders and payments at the till and then fulfilling those orders - including food and drink.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are always being met.
- Keeping the shop tidy and clean at all times.
- Occasional requirement/opportunities to get involved in community events.

**PAY: £11.00/hr **(dependent on experience & age)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
