Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a maintenance role based in Inverness Area

The Role:
Winter Working - clearing stations of snow using shovels, hand ploughs and treating with de-icing material. Cleaning of stations and small hand repairs carried out. Cleaning and upkeep of sites within the Inverness area.

14-17 weeks contract.

35hrs per week

The Person:
A conscientious individual, who holds a valid driving licence (own vehicle not required), is able to work safely and who is committed to providing the highest standard of customer service. A team player who can also demonstrate individual initiative.

Knowledge/Skills:
Good working knowledge of COSHH and general cleaning standards / general safety. Certified competent in mechanical equipment, an advantage. Ability to order and issue stores, carry out equipment checks, evaluation checks, as well as report and record any defects to premises. Knowledge of specified cleaning and general maintenance.

Must be able to drive as travel between stations at short notice requires driving company vehicles.

Shift Pattern / Hours of Work:
Flexibility is essential in order to meet shift requirements which may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working. Basic week is Monday to Friday 05.00 to 12.00. Overtime will be required at weekends but requirement is weather dependant (Winter Working). Saturday & Sunday 05.00 to 12.00
