Responsibilities:

- We want you to deliver genuine and exceptional care for all of our residents
- Help build strong and trusting relationships with our people in care, ensuring we are doing everything we can to ensure they are having the best experience possible and keep our managers informed
- Work creative and flexibly to ensure our residents have everything they need
- The health and safety of people in your care is the most important thing. It’s all about looking after the physical, mental and social needs of our residents - being sure to watch for any warning signs of ill health and unhappiness
- Make sure Care Plans are developed and maintained with plenty of involvement from the people you’re supporting, their relatives and other health professionals
- Maintain accurate client records and make sure that each person in care has a personalized plan (including their pledges from you, and to you)
- Carry out regular checks on anyone in your care at agreed intervals with your wider team - including management. Work well with your colleagues and ensure a clear handover is given, meaning all staff are fully briefed and informed at the start and end of every shift.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of care techniques for seniors, including dementia care and behavior management
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- First aid certification is a plus
- Experience in assisted living or hospice care is a plus
